I used to wear this exact style of belt, made by another company. As it is no longer available, this belt is the PERFECT replacement!
This is my duty belt insert for the “Slim Battle Belt” I have setup on one of my chest rigs. It holds securely and can manage much more weight without problem. The loop tape sewn to the inside keeps it in position within the Slim Battle Belt.
Definitely recommend if someone is looking for a similar belt. I am very pleased with this product.
There are those that look for a ultra stiff belt for shooting matches, this is not what you are looking for. This belt has duty and day long duration in mind that is where the little flex goes a long way. I have used this as a direct weapon and gear mounted belt as well as an under-belt for duty gear. The belt can be snug allowing weighted gear such as my sidearm to remain in place with almost no pull away. the thickness allows for duty width gear to be attached and snug with no wiggle to make drawing and grabbing gear easy, as it is exactly where you put it. The D ring is solid and have used it as an anchor point while attaching a grown husky to it. As he pulled, the belt did not rip loose, nor did it loosen. The velcro is right on for this set up. There is a lot of it and it removes the slack. The buckle is also snug with very little give, this cut down on the small wear points on the belt for longer life. I use this with my duty gear by off setting the position of the buckle so it is not directly underneath the buckle on my duty gear. The buckle is thick, heavy, compared to the plastic GT model and so thoughts on stacking should go a long way for comfort. This is a good belt. Remember the with of holsters for regular with belts will not fit on this. As this is the case for some of my holsters, I use the GT model belt as it is lighter weight and thinner width.
My sheps have AA cobra dog collars. They last. I finally have a quality strong belt.
