If you're looking for a comfortable light weight jacket for those cool spring/fall days or even as Jack frost nibbles at your nose look no further. This jacket has served me well over the past year of service. It is made with premium materials and superior to any other patrol jacket I have used. The addition of a removable inner liner is a huge bonus when the weather gets closer to that freezing mark. The zipper pockets are great and decently deep. There is a large area on both arms for your hook and loop patches. The color selection is as always with Condor, second to none. Only one problem with the jacket is, it's such good quality I won't need to buy another for many many years unless I want a different color, but that's Condors problem for creating a great product.
Looks sharp and feels durable. Fits great under a chest rig or out to dinner. Can't wait to wear it more.
By far the best jacket I've ever had. So far, I've worn it up to -10F with just a t-shirt and been warm. The micro fleece makes it very comfortable to wear for an extended amount of time, and the many pockets make gear storage a piece of cake. The waterproofing is superb, not a drop of rain manages to get through. 5/5 stars, would recommend. Great EDC version of the Summit.
This jacket is the EDC version of the obviously duty/tactical Summit and Special Ops softshells. Doesn't telegraph what your job might be, but retains many of the same features as the tactical jackets. Same fabric and same characteristics that go with that fabric. Lots of pockets - not quite as many as the tactical models, but who needs a double zipper full width back pouch when you're just going out for pizza? I can't say enough about it. I searched for a jacket with these features but in colors that aren't obviously duty for two years, and it was right under my nose the whole time.
Essentially identical to my last review, but this is the second variant of the jacked issued to me onboard CVN-75 for a 5th fleet deployment, and lasted just as long. No complaints, for further details, please view my comment on the two zipper shell jacket.
I got this jacket as a Christmas gift 8 years ago I’ve worn it though Minnesota winters every day while working security inside and out. The jacket is perfect with its vents making it easy to cool off when you come inside without taking it off. It also fits perfect over a duty belt. I highly recommend this to everyone from officers to the general public it works for all seasons.
The city I work for opted for these jackets for us in the cold months. I’ve worn it MULTIPLE times over the past three years. It’s been in all kinds of muck and marsh. It’s warm enough in cold days and I love the armpit zippers for when it’s not *that* cold. My biggest issues have been the wrist Velcro become separated from the arm of the jacket - it’s still intact, buts she’s struggling. That’s not a manufacturer issue, that’s beating the dog snot out of it o. The streets for hours on end, day after day. The second issue I had was the breast pocket zipper came undone. Easy fix - eventually. I got it back together and it’s lasted for a few months now. I cannot really say if it was a manufacture or user issue, as it wasn’t new when it happened, but I also didn’t like rip the zipper open. I don’t usually keep anything important in that pocket. Anyways, 5/5 stars, and 10/10 would recommend. I will most likely purchase more for my second job as well!
The one thing that stopped this from being absolutely totally top tier was the fact that the velcro at the end the sleeves doesn't tend to stay down fully at the tip, perhaps due to the taper. Other than that, I absolutely love all of the extra pockets, the areas to run a wire from pocket to head, inner pocket key clips, and especially the armpit vents.

Each time I wear this jacket I'm reminded how quality it is. In my regular size this is roomy so I can comfortably layer underneath. I have hiked in this and worn it down to 10 F with some light down underneath. This has features you won't find in other softshells like D ring inside both hand pockets and pit vents.
Overall great jacket. Runs slightly snug for an Xl but not tight enough to need to go up a size.i like the well rounded taper look it has has.
Best jackets for patrol. Plenty of pockets, ventilation, warmth. Tough easy zippers to work even with gloves on. Other jackets have small zipper handles and the fabric always gets caught in the zipper. My only suggestion is to put a Velcro loop patch 3.5 x 3.5 inch on the left chest area for badge. 5 stars!

I have had my jacket for over 5 years now and worn it in ALL conditions.
From office work, to outdoors adventures, being my standard choice for airsofting and range days, this jacket has yet to fail me!
No zipper has failed, the material still is water resistant and overall has been an extremely comfortable and durable jacket!
I plan to get a second one not because this is worn out, but so that when it is in the wash I have a backup! (And color options)

ONE NOTE: CHECK THE SIZE CHART, these jackets seem to run bigger. Normally I wear a medium or large, this jacket is a small and fits PERFECT.

Wish they would make an enhanced viz version with the yellow and silver reflective trim for workers. It would sell I’m sure!
Jacket is great! Plenty of pockets, vents for when it warms up, and repels water.
I like the material this lighter weight jacket is made of. Only issues include neck area height rubs against my beard and some of the inner stitching came loose. Otherwise, great product.
