I really like the pppuch itself but the molle on the back of both pouches I purchased doesn’t line up well with any bag I’ve tried it on. It’s like it has to float above the first weave on the bag instead of resting on it. For that reason alone I’m not sure if I would recommend them. Maybe mine were sewn wrong?
Fully enclosed pouch allows user to run jump crawl without fear of losing radio. Bonus point for shielding radio from UV rays in Arizona summer.
I bought this for my BF-888s, had no problems with it, has more then enough room, and can still let the antenna out and the PTT wire out
Used this for years, holds all manner of rectangular shaped things. Occasional mag storage if I run out of dedicated pouches.
I bought this pouch originally to carry a pistol for both right hand and left hand draw and it worked well for that and as a radio pouch too.
It is very nice, well made. It is what you would expect from a Condor product. I do have one complaint about it, it's minor but I'll put it out there anyway. If you're running your radio with the antenna directly connected, the antenna is in the way of the flap. If the tip of the flap was notched more on the sides it wouldn't be a problem, but as it is it just makes the flap slant to the side a bit. Again, a minor complaint but something to keep in mind.
As a SWAT officer, this has always been my favorite radio pouch. I like that it's deep enough to not only hold my radio, but also contain any excess cords that run from my radio to my PTT which reduces snag hazards. I would love to have one in Ranger Green. I would also like to see an updated version that still has a top flap, but also has cut outs on either side of the flap to allow for an antenna to extend out of the pouch.
